We received the sauna thermometer well packaged in a cardboard box. Additionally, the packaging was wrapped in bubble wrap to protect against drops and hazards during transport. Contact options are included on the packaging containing the thermometer, but only the email address is provided.
First impression of the product after opening the packaging
After opening the packaging and evaluating it, we take a closer look at the product’s workmanship. How high-quality are the materials used, and how do the feel and appearance rate?

All parts, including a small mini screwdriver for assembly, are included. A user manual is provided, listing safety instructions—although the warning to open the packaging carefully is by then no longer relevant. No odor was detected upon opening.
Visually and to the touch, the sauna thermometer makes a very good impression. The edges are sanded, and the wood is nicely finished, giving it a smooth and soft feel. The recessed glass components do not protrude beyond the wood and appear thick and sturdy.
The practical test
The practical test carries the greatest weight. Here, the product must undergo a variety of criteria and examinations by our independent testers. We test the functions promised by the manufacturer of the item under review.

The product arrived as expected. In length, it was a few millimeters shorter than stated, but size specifications are generally rounded up, so this cannot be considered a complaint here.
The sauna thermometer was dropped from various heights onto different floors and did not sustain any damage at all.
Additionally, we placed the thermometer together with an aroma diffuser under a lid for 30 minutes to test whether the wood would absorb the aroma. After the time elapsed, we found no evidence that the aroma had settled in.
Even when submerged in water, the wood remains unaffected. A small amount of water may collect inside the glass components, but this will evaporate during the next sauna session—so if the thermometer ever falls into water, it won’t be damaged.
We left it for half an hour at 100°C. Even here, neither the wood nor the glass sustained any damage. Thus, nothing will break even during intense sauna sessions.
