First impression of the packaging

The 7-zone comfort foam mattress Dream Flex from BeCo arrived well packaged in foil and was additionally protected by a cardboard box. The foil also lists BeCo’s contact details once again. The cardboard box, which arrived in perfect condition, also features a QR code linking to BeCo’s website. When opening the foil, care must be taken not to accidentally damage the mattress. A positive aspect to highlight is the use of recycled materials for the cardboard box.

After opening the packaging and evaluating it, we take a closer look at the product’s workmanship. How high-quality are the materials used, and how do the feel and appearance rate?

After unpacking, we initially noticed a fairly intense inherent odor, which is already mentioned in the enclosed information leaflet. Although this odor was not as noticeable with two other mattresses from the same manufacturer, the fact that any health risk is ruled out keeps the criticism here rather minor. In addition to information about the odor, the leaflet also contains care instructions, usage duration, and other helpful tips.
Visually and in terms of feel, the mattress is otherwise flawless – no damage or manufacturing defects, such as untidy seams, were found.
The practical test
The practical test carries the greatest weight. Here, the product must undergo a variety of criteria and examinations by our independent testers. We test the functions promised by the manufacturer of the item under review.

The mattress makes an overall excellent impression. Dimensions and color match the description, except for the height, which was only 15 cm instead of the stated 18 cm. The workmanship appears exceptionally neat. The lying surface is pleasantly soft, provides good pressure relief, and reliably supports the spine in every sleeping position.
The Dream Flex comfort foam mattress also delivers solid results in terms of breathability. Overall, it is a high-quality model that impresses with its high level of comfort and therefore deserves a very good rating.
