First impression of the packaging

The BeCo Ortho Dynamic mattress arrived safely wrapped in plastic, additionally protected by a sturdy cardboard box. The plastic wrap also displays the manufacturer’s contact details, which is very practical. When opening, care should be taken not to damage the mattress. The cardboard box itself arrived in perfect condition and features the logo as well as a QR code linking to the website. Particularly commendable is that the box is made from recycled material.

After unpacking the Ortho Dynamic mattress, a slightly unpleasant inherent odor was initially noticeable, which is already mentioned in the enclosed information sheet. It also assures that no health risks are to be expected, so this does not represent a serious criticism. The leaflet also contains important notes on care, usage duration, and other helpful tips. In terms of appearance and workmanship, there is nothing to criticize about the mattress: no damages or poorly finished seams were visible.
The practical test
The practical test carries the greatest weight. Here, the product must undergo a variety of criteria and examinations by our independent testers. We test the functions promised by the manufacturer of the item under review.

The Ortho Dynamic mattress leaves an overall very good impression. The stated dimensions and color almost match the description, only the height of 20 cm was slightly off at 18 cm. However, the overall workmanship appears extremely meticulous. The sleeping surface is comfortable and pleasant, but could offer slightly better spinal support. We also expected a bit more from the gel foam technology and pressure relief.
A positive highlight is the convincing breathability. Overall, this is a high-quality mattress that impresses in terms of comfort but still leaves room for improvement in some details.
