The “Selection MF” comfort foam mattress from BeCo was securely packaged in foil and additionally delivered in a sturdy cardboard box. BeCo’s contact details are also listed on the foil. Caution is advised when opening the foil to avoid accidentally damaging the mattress. The cardboard box itself was in perfect condition and features the company logo as well as a QR code linking to the website. A particularly positive aspect to highlight is that the box is made from recycled material.

After unpacking, a slightly unpleasant odor was initially noticeable, but it remained within limits. This issue is also explained in the enclosed information leaflet. It assures that the odor is harmless to health and only temporary. The leaflet also includes helpful advice on care, usage duration, and other tips.
Visually and in terms of feel, the mattress is flawless: no damage or manufacturing defects such as protruding seams are visible. The cold foam mattress makes a high-quality impression.
The practical test
The practical test carries the greatest weight. Here, the product must undergo a variety of criteria and examinations by our independent testers. We test the functions promised by the manufacturer of the item under review.

The mattress gives an overall very good impression. Dimensions and color match the description, but the height of approx. 14 cm unfortunately only measures 11 cm. The workmanship appears clean and neat. The lying sensation is pleasant and sufficiently comfortable, although spinal support could still be improved. Particularly positive are the effective pressure relief and good breathability. All in all, it is a high-quality mattress that fully convinces in terms of comfort.
