We have taken a closer look at the above-mentioned product and subjected it to a practical test. Below, we provide detailed insights and impressions resulting from this evaluation. The “Royal Soft” duvet arrived well packaged in a cardboard box. There was enough air in the box to prevent any damage to the quilt when it was opened.

First impression of the product after opening the packaging
After opening the packaging and evaluating it, we take a closer look at the product’s workmanship. How high-quality are the materials used, and how do the feel and appearance rate?

The warm Duo microfiber duvet from BeCo makes a good first impression. Unlike other BeCo products we have received, this time there was no extra note with care instructions and tips, but the care instructions can be found on the duvet label. There was no odor when unpacking.
We couldn’t find any flaws, either visually or to the touch – the seams are neatly finished, the fabric is bright and white, and the filling is evenly distributed. The fabric of the microfiber duvet is soft and cuddly, inviting you to snuggle up right away.
The practical test
The practical test carries the greatest weight. Here, the product must undergo a variety of criteria and examinations by our independent testers. We test the functions promised by the manufacturer of the item under review.

The Royal Soft duvet (135 x 200 cm) from BeCo matches the specifications in terms of both color and dimensions (stretched out lengthwise—slightly wider in some places widthwise, but within the tolerance range).
For the moisture test, we moistened one corner of the blanket to simulate sweat. We then held a piece of kitchen paper against it to see how much moisture the blanket absorbed. The result: the paper was barely wet, which indicates good absorption and dry nights for those who tend to sweat.
We tested the blanket for 30 minutes in summer temperatures. It warms well and quickly, is not heavy, but lies gently on the skin. When turning and tossing and turning, there are no disturbing noises that could prevent a peaceful sleep.
The warm duo duvet can be easily washed and dried at 60°C. After washing, the filling was still evenly distributed and fluffy.

Our final evaluation category focuses on the price-performance ratio and the conformity with the online presentation. This category is weighted at 10%.

We looked at a few competitors and calculated the average price: BeCo’s duvet is in the mid-price range. Some 4-season duvets in 135×200 cm size are significantly cheaper, while others are significantly more expensive. We therefore classify it as being right in the middle. (Average price approx. $113 and our duvet $120)
