We have taken a closer look at the above-mentioned product and subjected it to a practical test. Below, we provide detailed insights and impressions resulting from this evaluation. From the packaging to the materials and quality, as well as the range of functions and handling, this product is put through our THO testing procedure. For a quick overview, we use a point system. First impression of the packaging

We received the hooks and silicone adhesive together with other NATURIZ® brand test products in a box. The hooks and adhesive arrived separately in a sealable plastic bag. This made it easy to separate the packages and keep everything organised. We find the resealable bag particularly practical, as it allows leftover hooks to be stored neatly.

First impression of the product after opening the packaging
After opening the packaging and evaluating it, we take a closer look at the product’s workmanship. How high-quality are the materials used, and how do the feel and appearance rate?

We counted: all 25 hooks are included in the package. The silicone adhesive with the corresponding attachment is also included.
When unpacking, there was no noticeable odour – the hooks did not smell like cheap plastic, and the silicone adhesive did not have any holes through which silicone could have escaped. Thus, no manufacturing defects could be detected by smell. Visually, none of the hooks showed any damage or were completely broken and unusable.

The practical test
The practical test carries the greatest weight. Here, the product must undergo a variety of criteria and examinations by our independent testers. We test the functions promised by the manufacturer of the item under review.

The hooks measure 3 x 2.5 cm and are transparent, as specified. Thanks to their transparency, they are barely noticeable on normal surfaces, such as a balcony.
Installing the hooks, e.g. for a cat net on the balcony, proved to be very easy. After applying the silicone adhesive supplied, which was easy to apply thanks to the dispensing cap, the hook simply had to be pressed against the wall and held in place for a short time. After 24 hours of curing time, the silicone had dried and provided a stable hold on various surfaces. We tested the hooks on various surfaces: chipboard, coated and untreated wood, metal, plastic, stone and concrete. The adhesive held well on all surfaces – provided you don’t skimp on the adhesive and apply just a small dab. The 30 ml tube contains enough silicone adhesive.
If you want to remove the hooks at some point, you can use a knife to remove them relatively easily if brute force alone is not enough. However, be careful with sensitive surfaces such as coated wood: we lost a little material here.
The hooks also made a good impression in terms of stability: they withstood tension from the net well – they are very stable and not easily broken. Flexibility is out of the question – they cannot be bent and should therefore withstand changeable weather conditions with strong winds well.

Our final evaluation category focuses on the price-performance ratio and the conformity with the online presentation. This category is weighted at 10%.

According to our research, NATURIZ® adhesive hooks are in the mid-price range. We found hooks with silicone adhesive that are available in larger quantities but also at a lower price. Therefore, NATURIZ® hooks with silicone adhesive are in the solid average range.
The online images give a good impression, but the silicone adhesive shown in the images does not correspond to the actual product. However, in the video, the adhesive looks like the real thing.
