We have taken a closer look at the above-mentioned product and subjected it to a practical test. Below, we provide detailed insights and impressions resulting from this evaluation. The beach chair cover arrived undamaged in the box. The cover is also stored in the free storage bag supplied. The box therefore provides sufficient protection for the contents. A few of the cover’s features are listed on the box – such as waterproof or breathable – as well as contact information so that the manufacturer can be contacted directly.

After opening the packaging and evaluating it, we take a closer look at the product’s workmanship. How high-quality are the materials used, and how do the feel and appearance rate?

The manufacturer sent the beach chair together with the bag, so the contents arrived complete. After unpacking, a rather unpleasant odour came to light, which still smelled strongly of industry.

Instructions can be accessed via a QR code on an enclosed card. Here you will find clear instructions for installing and removing the cover, which we find extremely helpful. The drive file can now be accessed at any time and is available in various languages.

The look and feel of the fabric makes a good and stable impression. There are no visible open seams on the flaps or corners, nor are there any processing faults on the zip. The staples have all interlocked well. The first impression is therefore very good, apart from the rather unpleasant odour.

The practical test

The practical test carries the greatest weight. Here, the product must undergo a variety of criteria and examinations by our independent testers. We test the functions promised by the manufacturer of the item under review.

The beach chair protective cover measures 120x90x160cm and can be easily placed on a beach chair. The colour is an intense black.

The fabric stood up well to our practical tests – the beading effect showed the water-repellent properties of the fabric well and even prolonged standing water on the fabric did not seep through. As the manufacturer promises, the water can simply be wiped off. In addition to the water resistance, we pulled and tugged at the fabric and tried to damage it with a slightly sharper key, but it held up well. The fabric is robust and tear-resistant.

As already mentioned, the fabric is easy to wipe clean (but should not be treated with aggressive cleaners according to the manufacturer), which we were able to confirm. However, one stain was not so easy to remove, but with a little scrubbing we managed to remove the stain completely.

We simulated wind and were able to confirm that the beach chair cover does not blow up easily. It could be secured even more with the additional cord fastener.

General

The NATURIZ® beach chair cover is in the mid-price range, but is still comparatively inexpensive. We found a few cheaper covers for beach chairs, but we also found some significantly more expensive models.

The product photos give a pretty good impression of the product, but the supplied bag looks different from the product images we found on Amazon.
