We have taken a closer look at the above-mentioned product and subjected it to a practical test. Below, we provide detailed insights and impressions resulting from this evaluation. The fence arrived wrapped in a film inside a cardboard box. An e-mail address and telephone number are also printed on the box so that the manufacturer can be contacted directly if necessary. There is also a card in the box, which can be used to find the instructions. Contact information is also printed on this card.

After opening the packaging and evaluating it, we take a closer look at the product’s workmanship. How high-quality are the materials used, and how do the feel and appearance rate?

There was no artificial or unpleasant odour, nor did the fence appear to be poorly finished or have any broken or faulty parts. The accessories are also undamaged and in perfect condition.

The practical test

The practical test carries the greatest weight. Here, the product must undergo a variety of criteria and examinations by our independent testers. We test the functions promised by the manufacturer of the item under review.

The dimensions and colour of the fence match the description. Visually, the fence looks well made and blends harmoniously into its surroundings – whether it is to be installed in the garden, on a slope or in the courtyard. Speaking of installation, it was very easy, quick and intuitive to set up. The fence can be dismantled as quickly as it can be erected. Ideal for seasonal use.

The stability of the fence is sufficient for smaller animals. Sheep should also be penned in with it, but we can well imagine that a continuous sheep could tear down the fence. In any case, the fence bravely withstood our hammer throw and kicks. Wind and weather should therefore not affect the fence (we are unable to carry out long-term tests). The accessories supplied are also intended to improve the stability of the fence, but we encountered difficulties when hammering in the pegs: Some bent when we tried to place them in the ground – which had been loosened by rain. However, as some (16) pegs were supplied, this was not a problem. However, the pegs could not be fully sunk into the ground, meaning that the desired increase in stability was not fully achieved. On a positive note, none of the accessories were damaged or rendered unusable.

The fence therefore passed the practical test well. Unfortunately, we don’t have a large dog, let alone a sheep, to test its real-life suitability, but could only simulate with everyday objects. We therefore assume that a large animal could break through the fence.

General

Our final evaluation category focuses on the price-performance ratio and the conformity with the online presentation. This category is weighted at 10%.

The mobile pasture fence from NATURIZ® in 15m length is in the favourable price segment. We have found products here that are significantly more expensive and a few that are also available at a slightly lower price in the same size.
