Step 1: Contact us to check a domain
Would you like to have your online shop or website tested? Then send Trusted Heroes on their next mission and have your domain checked for important aspects such as technical security, transparency for users, GDPR compliance, AI visibility, and more.
Step 2: Start of the examination according to the current examination catalog
Our experts begin testing and adhere to the current examination catalogue. They systematically go through the points to analyse your website or online shop for relevant aspects.
Step 3: Receiving the badge and creating the test report
Once our experts have successfully verified your domain – for a successful verification, all essential aspects must be fulfilled – you will receive the badge to embed on your site and the test report as a PDF. In addition, we publish our results here on Trusted Heroes for everyone to read.

Terms of Use
The use of our seal is subject to certain criteria to ensure that the integrity and trustworthiness of the seal are maintained.
Is the seal allowed to be altered in any way?
No, the seal may not be altered in any way regarding shape, color, or content. It must be used in its original form and presentation.
Are there any special requirements for placing the seal?
You may place the seal (badge) wherever you wish. We recommend placing it in the header, running along the bottom right-hand corner and/or in the footer.
I have changed something on my site, do I now need a new seal?
If the change has a significant impact on factors that we test in the examination catalogue, you should have a new examination carried out. However, you do not have to pay the full examination fee again, but only a flat-rate examination fee of €49. If you have other special conditions, please refer to our price list.
Is there a time frame for using the seal?
Use of the Trusted Heroes quality seal is linked to an active subscription and is therefore only valid for the duration of the current payments.
If payment is not received, the seal will be automatically deactivated.
We also reserve the right to temporarily withdraw the seal if subsequent changes are made to your website that no longer meet the tested standards or have a negative impact on quality and security.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Trusted Heroes quality seal cost?
For the online shop seal, you pay a one-time examination fee of €499 and a monthly fee of €59 for the badge. If you do not have an online shop but a website, you pay a one-time examination fee of €349 and a monthly flat rate of €39 for the badge. Websites are cheaper because we do not test the same number of factors as we do for online shops, as the same factors are not relevant.
As we also want to serve SMEs, we would like to offer affordable certification.
Is every seal of quality reputable?
Unfortunately, there are also fake shops that ‘steal’ a seal of quality. In most cases, there are signs that indicate whether a seal of approval is legitimate. For example, you will not be redirected or a pop-up will not appear when you request further information. Some seals of approval are also altered in appearance – you just have to pay attention to the small details.
All domains that have been thoroughly checked by Trusted Heroes receive a detailed test report, which can also be viewed here at trusted-heroes.com.
In addition to fake seals of quality, there are also fictitious seals that have not been subjected to any examination. Therefore, make sure that there is a genuine link to Trusted Heroes and check the shop’s URL.

How will I be assessed?
Simply order the ‘Online Shop Seal’ or ‘Website Seal’ product and we will carefully check your online shop or website according to our defined test criteria.
If all requirements are met, you will receive the Trusted Heroes seal of quality and be certified as a verified online shop or website.
In addition, we will provide you with a detailed digital test report (PDF).
This report is also publicly available on our Trusted Heroes website in the Reports section – as a visible sign of your verified quality and trustworthiness.
How long does the examination take?
The certification process can vary from site to site depending on the amount of time required. A web shop takes longer to review because we have more to test. Normally, you will receive the completed test report and your seal of approval within 10 working days after the order has been confirmed by both parties.
For websites, you will receive the badge and test report within 7 working days of placing your order.
However, you have the option of adding priority services for both examinations.
What are the differences between national and international quality seals?
For a German web seal, German legal requirements must be met. This means, for example, that the imprint must comply with German legal requirements and data protection must be guaranteed in accordance with German law.
Is a seal of quality worthwhile for SMEs?
Of course! Building trust is crucial, especially for smaller shops or newly launched service providers – and a seal of quality is a quick and effective way to do this.
