The LANGE MEYER TwinComfort folding mattress arrived well packaged in plastic wrap. There is another layer of plastic wrap around the mattress itself. Since nothing can break on a mattress, we consider this sufficient—plastic wrap is also enough to protect against rain or dirt. An email address is provided on the shipping box for contact purposes.

When unpacking the mattress, you immediately notice a typical mattress smell, which was quite strong compared to other mattresses. Fortunately, this disappears after 24 hours.

Care instructions for proper washing are provided on the enclosed leaflet. It also contains more detailed information (such as possible uses and frequently asked questions/FAQs). Detailed unpacking instructions are also provided, including tips on how to unfold the mattress. Other advantages over other folding mattresses are also listed.

Visually, the mattress looks good—the cover is finely crafted with no visible open seams. The zipper also works perfectly and is easy to use, so we can’t find any flaws here. A closer look at the mattress foam reveals no room for manufacturing defects.

The practical test carries the greatest weight. Here, the product must undergo a variety of criteria and examinations by our independent testers. We test the functions promised by the manufacturer of the item under review.

The LANGE MEYER mattress largely matches the specified dimensions. It is slightly shorter than stated—the dimensions of the folding mattress did not quite match 75×200 cm.

The mattress is very comfortable on both sides and can be easily folded up. This means it also fits perfectly into the included carrying bag for storage.

The levels of firmness matched the specifications—one side was softer, the other harder. A sticker would be useful here to show which side is H2 and which is H3. The spine is adequately supported at different levels of firmness.

General
